Class Descriptions
Recreational Classes:
Parent n Tot
Half hour Saturday morning class for ages 15 months - 2 years old. Parents will
participate with their child during this class under the supervision of an instructor.
This class is great for helping to improve motor skills. Basic tumbling and
gymnastics skills will be introduced. Students will learn the safety rules on the
gym & become acquainted with the instructors.
T-Bugs
Half hour once a week class for ages 3-5 years.
In this class children will learn:
Listening skills, coordination & safety in the gym
We will introduce cartwheels, handstands, forward & backward rolls on floor, basic
jumps on trampoline & basics jumps and dismounts on double mini trampoline.
They will also have time on the low and high beams as well as bars.
Beginner 1
45 minute once a week class for ages 6 and up.
In this class children will work on:
Listening skills, coordination & safety in the gym
Cartwheels, Round offs, handstands, forward and backward rolls, bridges and
splits on floor
Basic jumps, 1/2 and full turns, swivel hips and front drops on trampoline
Basic jumps, dismounts and 1/2 and full turns on double mini trampoline
They will also have time on bars and beam
Beginner 2/3
One hour and 15 minute Thursday class. This class is for Beginner students
ages 9 & up. In this class, students, should be able to do all Beginner 1 skills.
They will continue to perfect the Beginner 1 skills & will start working towards
somi's and flip flops.
Cheerleading
One hour and 15 minute Saturday morning class for kids 6th grade and up. Kids
and teens will learn skills important to every cheerleader!
Cheer jumps, splits, cartwheels, round off, flip flops (back handsprings) and back
tucks. Class includes conditioning to increase strength and flexibility.
Students will also have time on trampoline and double mini trampoline.
Team Classes:
All students moving from a recreational class into a team class
must be approved by Danny.
All team classes include conditioning for strength and flexibility.
Level 1
One hour class.
This class is for our youngest team members ages 5-8 years old.
You may chose to attend either once or twice a week.
All students entering this class must be able to do BOTH forward & backward rolls
on floor.
Tumbling level: Beginner
Students in this class will continue to improve on basic skills while learning their
passes on floor, trampoline and double mini.
Level 2-3
One hour and 15 minute class.
This class is for our older team members who have not yet mastered the round off
/flip flop on floor and/or a somi on Trampoline & Double Mini.
You may choose to attend either once or twice a week.
Tumbling level: Beginner/Advanced Beginner
Students in this class should have good basic skills on all three events.
Flip Flops on floor and somi's on Double Mini will be introduced to students who
we believe are ready to learn them.
Level 4-6
One hour and 30 minute class.
You may choose to attend once, twice or three times a week.
Tumbling Level: Sub-Novice/Novice
Class Requirements: Front or back somi on Trampoline with no spot
Front or back Somi on Double Mini with no spot
Round off Flip Flop on floor with no spot
Level 7-9
One hour and 30 minute class.
You may choose to attend once, twice or three times a week.
Tumbling Level: Intermediate- Advanced
Class requirements: Intermediate competition level or higher on all three
events.
Flip flop/back tuck on floor with no spot
Intermediate Trampoline pass
Barani's on Double Mini with no spot
Level 10
This class is for Advanced/Elite competition level students. Students in this class
should be Advanced &/or Elite on all three events.
